Patrols at 46th Sheffield (Totley Rise) Guides

All our guides belong to a patrol. At Totley Rise we made the decision to try to maintain friendship groups in patrols. This mean that each patrol has members that are usually a similar age and in the same school year. When our guides move from junior school to secondary school, some go to different schools and even when they go to the local one they are often in different classes to their friends. We find many of the girls coming to guides value the opportunity to spend at least some time with friends they no longer see at school and so maintain friendships they might otherwise lose.

We asked each of our patrols to introduce themselves to you.

Roses

Hi we are the Roses. We think we are the best patrol. The name is a bit sad but we are really bad. We luv shopping and chocolate (and boys) . We don't like school and homework.

Daffodils

Hi we are the daffodil patrol, we are at Totley Rise guides and we meet there on Tuesday evenings. My name is Sophia and I am a brown belt in jujitsu, there is also Hayley and Laura. We like reading, chocolate, playing hockey and messing about at guides.
